My Story
4 years ago…
My wife, Codie, said “I think we’re supposed to do The World Race.” My first thought was “How much does it cost!?” Haha. Needless to say, we spent the next year of our lives fundraising the nearly $33,000 it would take to send us to some of the poorest of countries around the world. We worked with orphans, churches, seminaries, and construction crews; We saw people get healed — physically and spiritually. We saw people give their lives to Christ.
The Lord was clear in His calling for us, and He was faithful to provide.
2 years ago…
Codie and I got back from The World Race and moved to Manassas, Virginia. I was working for a startup company and she was a nanny. I saw a job listing for an IT position at Adventures in Missions, located in Gainesville, Georgia — and I applied. That very week, Codie’s former boss from North Carolina called her and said “I just opened up a place in Gainesville, Georgia, and I want to know if you’d like to come work for me again.”
The Lord was clear in His calling for us.
Now …
My wife and I are living in Gainesville, Georgia, and I work for the very organization that hosts The World Race. Adventures in Missions has sent out over 100,000 missionaries all over the globe. We have ministry partners in over 70 countries! And now, I’m working as a Short Term Missions project manager. This means that I help to organize trips that last anywhere from 1 week to 3 months, domestically and internationally. I get to be a part of fulfilling Christ’s command to “Go” in the lives of hundreds of missionaries and churches dedicated to bringing Kingdom to earth.
The Lord is faithful to provide.
The God ask …
The nature of my new position requires that I raise $600 per month, and truthfully, it terrifies me. Just like the $33,000 that Codie and I needed to raise 4 years ago.
But this is what I know:

God is faithful.

He is the Lord of my life.
-
He has called me to this position.
-
I will rely on His strength and His provision.
The Invitation:
The goal that I am raising for Adventures in Missions is $600 per month. In order to reach this goal, I need 14 ministry partners.
